COMPANY H.Q. PUTS YORK'S HIRE ON THE MAP

Richardson Rice Trailers, which operates a retail sales & hire outlet for local customers from the forecourt of the factory site at Shipton by Beningbrough near York, now boasts a selection of General Purpose Trailers, Box Vans, Car Transporters and Horse Trailers, all available for hire to the local community. Sales Advisor Tim Ingledew explains;
"We have extended the range due to popular demand: everybody has been in the situation where they need to move something, but have not had an appropriate means at their disposal; whether it's taking something to the tip that can't fit in the car, or moving furniture or bulky white goods or even collecting a car that is a non runner. Not everybody feels comfortable driving a big hire van, and why should they when they can simply hire a trailer and stick to what they know. With our new range, we can provide a safe, easy and cost effective solution to their problem.".
"Likewise, with the horse trailers, not everybody with a horse needs to transport their animal week in and week out; maybe just the odd trip to the vet, or to pastures new occasionally, and the beauty of offering the horse trailers for hire is that it gives the curious or sceptical buyer the opportunity to try out one of our more unique models, such as the rear-facing and three horse, to see if their animals are truly comfortable in them before purchasing.".
All trailers are offered on a daily, weekly and long term hire basis, with customers able to collect any time beween 8.00am and 5.00pm weekdays and 8.00am to midday on saturdays.
The whole fleet is maintained regularly to guarantee safety and reliability, and novices to towing are given basic instruction and guidelines to help them on their way.
